Cutting Edge Reclamation, LLC key personnel are 40-hr HAZMAT-trained and have participated in both federal and state funded environmental site remediation projects.

Using its state-of-the-art equipment and compatible stabilization additives, Cutting Edge can utilize the "In Situ" stabilization process to physically and chemically encapsulate and neutralize low-level hazardous materials either for capping on-site or removal/disposal off-site as a non-hazardous material, effectively limiting or eliminating the mobility of waste constituents.

Examples of the cost-effectiveness and technical feasibility of this process would be:

  • The neutralization and solidification of coal processing refuse (which contain pyrites, a contributing factor of acid mine drainage), thereby limiting the infiltration of water for potential acid run-off.
  • Lead-contaminated soils remediation at designated industrial hazardous sites.
  • Rapid, effective and practical solutions for pursuing "Brownfields" initiatives. ("Brownfields" are previously-used industrial/urban properties lacking redevelopment due to potential environmental contamination).
